The Sliding Racks of Bike Parking 2.0 have a good reputation for 3 reasons:
- Offers more comfort to cyclists because they can easily park or retrieve their bicycle with no-effort sliding aside of the bicycles next to it.
- Ability to park more bicycles per stretching meter. We recommend 34 Sliding Racks on a stretch of 10 meters. That is excluding the 19 Lifting Pillars that you can place at the same stretch.
- Durability. Since 2010 we make our systems from long-lasting aluminium and stainless steel with a design that is focused on a long life span. Maintenance is therefore usually limited to sweeping the floor for leaves.
To achieve maximum comfort and maximalize the number of parking places, we place the bicycles on our unique Sliding Rack at alternative depths of 30 cm so that their steering handles do not tangle (see picture on the left.)
For narrow places, we can no provide elevated trolleys, thus reducing the required floor space while still reducing the entanglement of the steering handles (picture on the right).
For narrow places, our Sliding Racks can now be delivered with 50% of the trolleys raised by 40 mm.
